Expert crew is double the price of crewing the tank and the same price as purchasing the tank. Scouts need keen vision but it's certainly not wasted on any ground unit. Take an M5A1 Stuart, give it to a crew with no tank driving skills and basic XP, and then try the same tank with an ACE crew and level 150. my main crew is 45, then theres a 35, a 23 and a 11. At top tier and in a lot of french tanks it doesnt really matter as weapon loading speed has no effect on auto loaders, but for tanks like the AVRE, T-34, T-30, KV-2 and whatnot it matters a lot. For ground RB youre probably better off just having 1-2 dedicated plane slots. Turn on improved optics (30% bonus to range) and now they're scoutable. planes are easier to skill for since you dump points into one pilot if you're a fighter, or you know, gunnery for bombers. The joy and satisfaction from blowing up an enemy's ammunition is almost too hard to put into words.
